I didn't "self-designate" the right lane as fast lane as other drivers have decided their car is not slow so they choose what they think of as the fast lane(s), actually passing lane(s). Do agree, passing on right can be trouble especially on the "sui" side rather than left side of a long haul truck. Still, I will not "hang" beside a truck or any vehicle at all in case a lane, mine, or another, has some trouble in it to be avoided quickly. I swear some people are brain-dead in that regard.
